Congress is considering changes to the Dodd-Frank Act and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). Make your voice heard on Capitol Hill!
While you’re here in Washington, D.C. for our 2017 Annual Meeting, join us in educating members of Congress, face-to-face, on what they need to do in order to protect their constituents’ access to affordable credit. Capitol Hill visits are available for registered attendees of the Annual Meeting.
The progress we’ve made over the years is in part due to the Hill visits that you make every year—it’s your stories, your perspective and insights, and your physical presence that really makes them listen to what is being said. With your involvement, they are able to put a face to the cause.
AFSA will request appointments on Capitol Hill with your respective congressional representative, as well as members of key committees. In order to avoid overlap and confusion, participants are strongly discouraged from submitting meeting requests on their own behalf.
The consumer credit industry is strongest when we speak with a unified voice.
